THE Red Cross is investigating whether 600 million gamers are violating the Hague and Geneva conventions when they kill and blow stuff up for fun.
Delegates at the 31st International Conference of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Red Crescent raised the concerns over the potential “International Humanitarian Law” violations – which can constitute war crimes - during a workshop in Geneva.

    a. If the UN has $55 million to spare on this issue, then apparently world hunger has been conquered. Very glad to hear this news. Everyone has a full belly at last.

    b. I have no immediate frame of reference as to how a gamer's propensity for violence might be enhanced by playing such games, as I am not a gamer. I have a life. I am busy. I have things to do. I am not 12.

    c. Tie this thread to the TFF Weight Loss Challenge, and we might be on to something. Stop gaming, lose weight. I bet the UN would fund it.

I love this game, but you don't really blow things up, well except your car.

if this is the case, then by now i've probably killed more people than Adolf Hitler and Stalin combined :D

in fact, if you count computer generated "people" as real people, then that is literally true! in Sid Meier's Civilization series you can use nukes to level entire cites, killing millions of people. i've wiped out countless civilizations and rendered thousands of planets extinct.

or maybe civbuilder games don't count, only games where you're in first or third person and your character wields a weapon and personally kills other people. that still puts my body count well up into the 6 digits, with games like Medal Of Honor, Call of Duty, Soldier of Fortune, HALO, Far Cry, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Elder Scrolls III & IV, Delta Force, Gun, Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, America's Army, Star Wars games(too many to name!), and dozens of other games that i've played over the years!

maybe at my war crimes tribunal you fellas could come and put in a good word for me, eh?

well i remember getting papers from the UNHRC in 1990 about how i was to respond to their questions over our actions in cambodia , complaints where laid by Australian activists on behalf of the Cambodian people . I went to the toilet on them wrapped them up and returned them to Canberra .

they next sent some pencil necked pen pusher to our HQ

i was back out of the country then and missed the mashup but again got the letters a few months later

i was also asked in them to name US advisors to Both FANK and FARK , i refused

they threatened to lock me up summarily as a war criminal

the Australian who put us in is now boss of the greens , the socialist political party who form the labour /green coalition government here now , Bob brown, look him up ( also a fag)

all the war criminal stuff stopped when the facts of cambiodia and the Khmer rouge came out

but for a while it was nasty ..

and even today i refuse to name the US folks involved , incase they are done ..

screw the Un and its agenda to protect the scum of this world ..

we did good , we served with honour and compassion for the cambodian people and today they are a free nation

the UN forgets that .. or just dont want to know ..

to all in the UN i say FARK you

FARK = Forces Armiee's Royale Khmer

    FANK =Forces Armiees Nationiales Khmer

Man I'm screwed. I love shooting stabbing and breaking necks on my way to ending a game. I'm not good check my YouTube channel you will see. I find it is fun when it is too cold to go to a range.
