OK I am shooting in a local USPSA steel match this weekend and they are requiring a power factor no higher than 150. I am shooting 40 S&W. I am looking at loading a 155gr lead cast bullet using Hodgdon Clays and looking at a valocity around 850 to 900fps. Usinf the formula I get a PF between 131 and 139. is that right? There is no minimum bullet weight is there?

    131 to 139 is correct.

The only division that has a minimum bullet weight is "open" division, then the minimum is 112 grains if you are shooting "major" power factor. Since the minimum PF for shooting major is 165. With what you are loading, with your power factor, you will be shooting minor anyway. So you should be good to go.

Have fun, shoot fast, don't miss. ;) :D:D
