Just curious, why was it a pain? It's supposed to be a "drop in" stock. No crossbolt to contend with, no need for the trigger group spring. All you have to do is pop out the trigger group and magazine, swap the stock, and reinstall them.

The thing I can't stand about the ATI Dragunov stock is that huge hump behind the receiver. You have to remove the stock just to take the receiver cover off for regular cleaning. If it was as much of a pain in the rear as you say it was, I hope you find an easier way to do it. Because you'll have to do it pretty often if you want to keep your SKS maintained properly.

Thats what they say. On the very end of the old stock mine had a little nipple. The new stock where that little 1/4 nipple stuck out and was solid. So I took a razor knife and carved it to a nipple took about 45 min. to get just the stock in. It ain't gonna have to be done but that one time. About the hump behind the reciever I usually take the stock off to clean it anyway.

Question? Do the spent shells hit the scope with that set-up? I had a scope mount on an sks that was built a little different than that, and it ate lots of brass.

Naw man It has a shell deflector to lock on the rear ladder sight you might be able to see it if you look real hard. The guarante is never jam or slow down ejecting shells. Lived up to it so far.
