    In the spirit of the upcomin' holiday, we carved a pumpkin with a 5.56mm for the heckuvit...

    Thought I'd share with yall:D

    ...already plotting on carving a turkey for pilgrim day..........

    The point-fitty cal would be kool to carve with, but we was trying to make our jack-o-lantern all surgical precision-like:rolleyes:

    He was kinda downhill from where we shot...so I guess he got an exit wound in the buttcheek:eek:

    He did better than the watermelons we shot this summer tho....they blew up lol

    Good thing you used a "minor" caliber...I like to use a 12 guage slug and usually all you have left then is this fine orangish-yellowish mist....with a few identifiable chunks scattered over a 10 -20 yd radius...:D

    In fact the last time I shot a watermelon from like 20 yards a hunk of rind nailed me in the shin:eek:

    That had to be much faster than the skeleton head that I carved for my 7year old!
