I'd say i'm part of the 20% you speak of but i've figured it out long ago. The thing that ticks me off is I keep being nice and get screwed every time I do . I just need to learn to tell people NO, i'm going to work on it else i'll keep getting screwed till the day I die :bleh:.

I had some good conversation at the VA today and it seems guys of our generation are pretty much on the same page.We are now the ME generation instead of working with and helping out a brother. It seems ours was the last of the WE generation.

Y'all know what the problem is, just like I do! No God, no honor, or truth! Know God, know honor, and truth!

I couldn't have said it better. We WERE the WE generation.

When I was growing up, Mom, (the Episcopalian) would whomp on my butt with my own belt. Dad, (the Quaker) would shake his head and quietly say "I'm disappointed in you." I could never decide which hurt more.

I made a promise when I joined the military, as I would not make a vow as a Quaker. I will continue to hold to that promise. "... all enemies, foreign and domestic."

No, the ME generation was the 90's. We are now in the Y generation. As in Why can't I have it now, why should I help you and why does what you tell me matter.:(
