You will need to tell the condition of wood and bluing/case colors by percentage not by the "very fine condition" You need to tell us if it is a .22short only or .22 LongRifle. The Military Model has the military stock/w handguard-stacking swivel-sling-bayonet stud on barrel and know that it was supplied with both the bayonet and scabbard. Complete as above will bring over $1,000.

As to the Boy Scout, This was also the Military Model, it was adopted as the "Official" rifle of the Boy Scouts and so called.

Exact condition and with all the above will determine an exact price range.

The barrel reads 22 short or long. The barrel looks 100% except for 2 small scratches about the size of a very small screwdriver blade. The receiver is not blue like the barrel. The wood looks good except for a hairline crack on the butt and 3 small dents and 2 scratches on the forearm.
I do not have the bayonet and scabbard.
The military and boy scout models are variations. As the "Boy Scout Model" or "Military Model" is stamped on the receiver.

Ok, so far so good. Now for the telling tale. The condition of the bore and "chamber" AND rifling. Dark bore/bright bore?? ect.

Retail will fall between 975.00 and 1225.00 and could possibly be higher to a Remington collector filing a hole/and or the area of sale, as these are rarely seen in this condition. There is also a premium for .22short only and the Boy Scout Model(early models). A very nice rifle, one that I would be hard pressed to part with.

    BTW---Welcome
