I have my grandpas Remington Wingmaster Model 870 12ga Patent #2,039,814. Its also modified 28" barrel. It says on the gun barrel 12 ga for 2 3/4 or shorter shells. Also says on other side Reminton Arms co. inc. Ilion, NY Made in the USA. I would like any info on this shotgun and what it is worth. Thank you!

That gets you something, arguably useful

That gets you year of manufacture.

Bear in mind that your shotgun is still made, and will have no particular extra value unless there is something special. The fixed choke will be a minus. It would be very hard to value it without more information, but it sounds like a run of the mill piece. I'd swag it in the 175 to 250 range depending on condition.
