I'm tired of it 10 weeks left this year.
From June to the end of Nov. every morning checking the Weather Channel to see what's out there or coming into the gulf so I can check emergency supplies. Having a pile of plywood on the patio in case it's time to board up.
Quite few people here are now just leaving the boards up for the whole season.
We give up. Working hard getting the house ready to go to market and then headen up north to Alabama.
    Tuckerd1 coming your way.

ya know, you fellas in Florida oughta make steel shutters that ya leave up permanatly so all ya gotta do is swing them shut instead of puttin a bunch of nails in your house 50 times a year.

    Have fun in Alabam.

Just cut the white tips off of the "Strike Anyware" matches and you have all the primer compound you need. Just add water, insert, spin between your palms and let dry! Do not dry in an oven! ;)

I think that maybe the number of hurricanes are on the increase.
Allen Cat 5 hit South TX in Aug 1980 and it wasn't until Aug 1983 that another storm Alicia Cat 3 hit the US (Landfall W Galveston Is. thru Alvin then right up 610 W, I was there for her too)

    :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

However, it can be done, but at a cost a lot higher than going out and buying them.

Reloading the rimfire by using matches or other compounds is the easy part, it`s getting the .22 mold and casting yer bullets that`s hard.

Looks like I'm gonna get some much needed rain. Maybe a little wind, too.

Looks like the center is gonna roll right through Austin, albeit at a reduced force.
