I have a Rossi 971 I bought about two years ago for 340.00 dollars new it seems to be a nice gun for the money.I just wonder how durable they are. I like to shoot 357 mags and wonder if this gun will hold up to a steady diet of 357 mags.

I'll start by saying that I've only owned/fired one Rossi and I think your asking about personal opinions and experiences, so I'll give mine. It was a .50 cal. muzzleloader. I put about 50 rounds through it before it bit the dust. They were 100 grains triple 7 with 200 grain T/C sabot. I can't give you more than personal impressions, but I won't be buying another one.
