  1. This one is up for auction, borrowed the Pic. It has a 22 in. barrel by description. I can't find any listing in the books i've got for a 22 in. Stainless...What's it worth......

  2. I'd want to know what markings are on that barrel. Factory barrels were 18 1/2" and 20". Most aftermarkets are 18 1/2", 20" or 24"...

    Nice sporter stock though.

  3. Thanks Doc! I'll e-mail the fella and ask...;)

    Clark offers a 21 1/2"
  5. Doc, Zig, The Barrel markings are:

The numbers/markings on the gun are :
Ruger Model 10/22 Rifle .22 LR Caliber

    Does this help any?...
  6. Well, it's a put-together job. I'd buy it as cheaply as I could. Maybe quality stuff, maybe only so-so.

These were at the 'Mart stores last year or year before. Wouldn't be the first time Ruger built a special model for Wally-world or K-Mart. They were pricy about $50 more than a regular stainles 10-22. it is NOT a put together job!!!! Prolly just didn't catch on because the price difference was too much.
  8. That does explain it. I dont try to keep up with the Wal-Mart editions, although the laminated-stock guns were pretty nice. Interesting that it doesn't seem to have the Ruger warning on it, though.

I'd treat it like any other stainless 10/22 then.
  9. Thanks Doc, I went ahead and bought it...Let's see what this pup will do as a shooter, when it gets here...;)

    Looks like a Walmart Special

For the last year or two Walmart has been selling this Ruger. The factory made it up specially for them. It can be recognized by the checkered stock, sling swivels, and 22" barrel. Last I remember the list price was $214. Some of the stores might still have some in stock, and these should be considered a future collector's item. The value will probably go up, as production is pretty limited.
