When I was growing up in the 50's, one of my first guns was a Ruger Bearcat S/N 249. It was the cause of my reduced hearing capacity. I still have it today and I'm wondering what it's worth? Blueing is still very good. The cylinder has a ring caused by the lockup.

If the gun is really nice other than the cylinder ring, it should be $400 plus. If you have the original box, etc., with that low serial number and the right buyer you could go considerably higher.

Yep, got the box with the original price ($49.95) marked on the inside of the top. Thanks
