TO: Xracer: I can't thank you enough, my buddy is going through some tough times, and has one he wants shed of, I told him I would find out what I could and give him top dollar. He is in need.
Another question, what book did you find this info in, and where can I get a copy?
Thanks again: chatshooter (Bill O.) :D

    OK Bill.....here you go.....

That particular value came from the 25th Anniversary Edition of "The Blue Book of Gun Values" by S.J. Fjestad. You can get the latest edition here:

    http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=S05vp7TC6L&isbn=1886768552&itm=1

Another good one is the "Standard Catalog of Firearms" by Ned Schwing:

    http://search.barnesandnoble.com/bo...asp?userid=S05vp7TC6L&pwb=1&ean=9780873499002

The Blue Book has more detail on prices, but the Standard Catalog also has pictures which makes identification easier.

I'd suggest you get 'em both.

If you're interested in antique American (before 1900) firearms, the Bible is "Flayderman's Guide to Antique American Firearms" by Norm Flayderman:

Bill...I just bought one new off an internet auction for $290, very nice gun. Sorta hard to find, at least around here, so I hope you get it.
