Well something went wrong there for sure haha, been trying to find out the value of my 1958 Ruger Single Six...like new cond, any help here is appreciated, Thanks
If it is, indeed, in "like new" condition, I would say it would bring a bit more that the 400 Cabelas wants. As overpriced as Cabelas generally is, an OM Single Six for 400 musta been beat to death.
They did not start offering the Single Six in 22 Magnum until 1959, and they did not start offering "convertibles", with both cylinders, until 1961.
Nope. It was in good shape. I should have bought it. They have a .357 3 screw now for the same price. Maybe they don't sell that good around here. Not enough cowboys.
Need some better pics and a serial number. Box adds to the package. Alpo is correct in that the gun did not come with a magnum cylinder, if it indeed was made in 1958. Serial numbers of Single Sixes from 1958 are 89701-121690.
