You guys all have good looking ranges. I'm in the process of trying to convince my board of directors that we need riflery as an activity for our campers. That'll let me set up a permanent range. As it is, I have to set up and tear down every time I shoot (except my pistol range, a hidden spot but only about 20 yards max).

hard to find around here. Speaking of which, I maybe need to start a new thread perhaps, but I was wondering if anyone had thought about those Bushnell Arc 1000 rangefinders?

Hello Captain, and welcome to the forum!
    Congrat's on your Ruger...love mine!
Ive been useing the CCI's, (500rd Bricks) standard velocity, 40gr.
I will add a bit of info that Ive found...Ive bought the bulk packs of the
CCI's (525 rounds?), but anyways they shoot different in my Single Ten and a heck of a lot dirtier!
Ive tried them differnt times, and there is a differance.

Thanks for the welcoming and the info, sounds like what I am shooting in my rifle is what you are shooting and I will stay away from the bulk pack and stick with the 500 round brick havent shot it yet tomorow will be the day , got the single ten for my son and the single six for me , I`ve been calling in coyote pretty close and wanted to try and bag one with the 22mags , I bought the cci mags hollow points . wish me luck lol and keep up the good shooting. hope to be able to shoot like that , We have a range here that has 25foot to 600 yards nice club with good people reading rifle and revolver reading ma took me awile to get in but I`m in now

With the 2 Rugers I have, I havent got not one complaint. Cheap to shoot and good
practice as well. Ive got my Single Ten sights set up dead on @ 30 yards and at 100 yards (and dont ask me how this can be ) but at 100 yards there isnt any holding over...sight picture stays the same. And with the
golf balls, for me, it's all about your "background" color/shade to see them
    good.

And good luck with the coyotes!!! Get'em all!
I have no sympathy for "those" fur beari'n critters. It's been a few days since
Ive dropped the hammer on one. (not for a lack of trying though);)
