    Skonix, I went with the compact because of the slightly smaller size and it easier to conceal. I carry in a OWB holster on the hip and this is where the problem begins. In winter it's ok due to having a jacket but summer is a different issue. I'm an older guy that still has issues with an untucked shirt.

    I don't know what the 10 lb trigger law is. Mine doesn't feel like that much pull, but I don't have a trigger pull scale. I do know I shoot it better than my 4" 4006 or my 5" Colt series 80 MK IV. The grip fits my son's hand better that large double stacks. Love this gun

    Unless you have an external safety here in MA a 10 lb pull is mandatory. I think they may even require a loaded chamber indicator for new guns being sold. Anyhow the Ruger has the safety features so the trigger pull from the factory is a cool 5-6 pounds or so.

    @Skonix

    I shot at HSC on Wednesday nights for USPSA practice 5-7pm. I go there Mon/Tues sometimes and weekends also a bunch.

    I live only 5-10 minutes from the Haverhill club so I can meet there after work or weekends also.

    Send me a private message and we can work out some details to meet up.

    I love my 9c, have a Crossbreed and a Mitch Rosen OWNBfrom the Rugerstoreonline, I can conceal very easily with either. I can actually shoot the smaller barreled 9c better than my 4"-barrel Smith&Wesson. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

    My son has this gun. I shoot it all the time. To bad on that 10 round clip issue your state has. I like the feel much better with the 17 round clip. I get better groups with the extra length of the 17.

    Gotta like the SR9c... I own one in all black and it is niiiiice. Easy to shoot, Great trigger, low recoil. I carry it in a N82Tactical Pro holster at 3:00 Check out N82Tactical .com for holsters.

    So far have about 400 rounds thru it with not one problem.
    Clean it well and oil it before shooting.
    I also racked the slide about 100 times before shooting.
