, the units they are sending are not reg's , it'll be a conscript rotation

the Russians will find a wall of IED's and suicide bombs , the MB and its caucus based allies will attack Russia internally , and this will force russia's hand in the area

and putins old plan to boot every muslim out might be back on the agenda

he has a 1200 mile long gas pipeline he needs to fund the rebuild he has on

Russia's infrastructure is shot and its consuming 1/4 trillion USD a month from Russia, they are self funding the lot

mainly through gold sales but they cant toss too much out there or screw the good thing they are on ..

if they (jihadists) hit the pipe line hard enough to take it out for a month , he's screwed , do that 3-4 times in the next 2-3 years , it'll break them , theres too much riding on a pipe and the jihadists know it

dumb play Vlad , but your showing you'll stand by your allies ( even if the troops are 3rd rate) so it'll be good for business ...

I think people under estimate how desperate Putin is: in his recent lifetime he saw Russia go from a super power to a third world country run by organized crime. He is backing Iran, Syria and the rest because he thinks he will be able to set up some puppet regimes with oil (which equals power) like the good old days.

Putin is also a murdering sociopath ala the KGB good old days. You could be seeing the end of the world as we know it playing out there. When those chemical or biological weapons in Syria get taken by Islamic extremists, it will be a very short time before they are used on Israel. And Israel will fire back with nukes and the world's oil infrastructure will glow in the dark.

not to be rude , but i dont think you under stand a thing about Putin , thats ok

Yes KGB boss of the western desk , a spook top spook too, boss spook , he plans a few moves ahead

also a fan of 1950 democracy , know that ?

Putin funded a patriotic group i helped set up in russia with the Cossack folks , Christian based ..

he'd like to be your ally , but he keeps getting screwed by the PC policies everyone imposes on him ..

let him secure his borders the russian way , sloppy but effective , let him sell his tanks and stuff , he is rebuilding a ecomony the only way he know , help him , dont scam him

Russia is a resource if treated right

know he's pushing for his folks to get hand guns ??

and pouring a lot into the old churches on top of rebuilding nearly every power station in the joint

Russia is exporting oil and natural gas. Europe is very dependent of Russian gas.

Jack, that's really encouraging news to me. The PC media bury that kind of information very deeply.

My nephew has a particular interest in Russia; I think he would like to go live there once he is married.

When Dad was over there in the early 80's the officials who were composing a new constitution asked dad to pray for them, and he did there on the spot.

Putin is smart enough to know that armed citizens make great fighters, WWII showed that fact to be true. Want to make sure your country is protected from the inside out against all enemies... arms your citizens. Seems Mother Russia "gets it" better then the US.
