    James Minder, CEO of Smith & Wesson, just resigned ; after it was revealed that he had done time in the 60s for armed robery
    (the is 70 now).
    What ever happened to "Paid my debt to society"

    I haven't seen or heard anything of this story, so this is just a guess. But I'm thinking it perhaps has more to do with him lying about his record. I don't know if he lied about it or not, but generally companies won't let ex-cons rise to CEO.

    If he did lie about his past, then he deserves to go down in flames.

    When I first googled for it, I couldn't find it. Then I went to CNN, figuring that if any news source would be really quick to report this sort of situation, it'd be Ted's liberal propaganda network.

    They had it, but seemed to report it in a fairly neutral way, pointing out that he had done a lot to work with kids, etc. to teach them to not make the mistakes he had made.

    I believe he was charged and convicted in Michigan and is considered a convicted felon, which here in this state means that you cannot own a firearm or even hunt.

    And, did he own any firearms? Nobody has said that he did. He's been on the board, but there's no evidence that he even handled any firearms during his tenure at S&W.
