The name "Sam Holt" was a thinly disguised attempt to fool a buyer into thinking the gun was made by the Colt factory. It's just a wallhanger and these hardly ever bring more than $50.

    Hi Potter....welcome to TFF! :)

What you have is Belgian-made shotgun with Damascus barrels that was sold by Sears, Roebuck under the "Sam Holt" tradename. These guns were sold around the turn of the century in the $8 to $10 range.

Wonderwhippet is right.....it's a wallhanger and worth about $50.

BTW, this is important! DO NOTattempt to shoot this gun with modern shotgun shells. It was made for blackpowder, not modern smokeless powder. Also, these damascus barrelled Belgian imports were made pretty cheaply and certainly haven't improved over the last 100 years.
