I've got a bunch of what I think might be Santa Barbara 7.62 CETME, not 7.62 NATO. I'm hoping some of y'all can tell me yea or nay on it.

Headstamp is 7.62x51 at 12:00. Down at 7:00 it says SB, and at 5:00 it says 85.

There is a green sealer around the primer, and there are three stake marks at the primer, one at 12, 5 and 7.

Brass case. FMJ Spitzer ammo. Does not attract a magnet, neither the case nor the bullet.

So, I'm guessing it's Santa Barbara CETME ammo made in 1985.

If that's what I've got - has anybody heard anything bad about it? I want to run it in my M1A, but surely don't want to blow my gun up.
