I thought I'd share this. It's a .22 (6 shot), nickle, made in W. Germany.
The name on the side is "Pic". Anybody know anything about these. BTW
I bought this gun new when I was in my early 20's. I'm 63 now.
Gerstenberger & Eberwein {EM-GE} PIC, made before 1970. Sorry to say, this gun is in the same category as Rohm RG-10. In fact, this gun was derived the same way. EM-GM was a maker of blank firing firearms. Someone, after WW II, convinced them to convert their 22 blank firing revolver to 22 rim fire. The same story as with Rohm, The result, a small revolver that would work very well for a short period of time, then the cylinder hand. along with other soft steel parts would start causing misalignment of the cylinder and barrel, causing lead shaving to fly back into the shooters face. Value, they sold for around 10-15 dollars when new, perhaps 35 to 50 now. Sorry about that
Thanks Rjay. I don't plan to shoot or sell it. It was all I could afford in
those days. I keep it to remind me of the sixties when you could buy a
M-1 Garand for $17 at W. T. Grant and other big stores.
