Scopes and range finding

    Ive been trying to figure out how the rangefinding out works but when explained it seems very complicated. Is there an easy way to explain how to estimate distances with these scopes. Also if u know any good quality range finding scopes.

    Are you referring to MilDOT scopes? Some folks prefer the milradian scale and others prefer the MOA scale for measuring angles. What is your budget? What distances are you planning to shoot at? See if this site helps. After reading begin to test yourself on the animation -1 and animation-2. (the second one is a lot of fun)

    well i am thinking of barska as being some good rangefinding scopes so if u have any experience with those it would be great to get some info on them,

    I do not have any experience w/Barska, hopefully someone else does. However, the basics are in the links above.
