I was at the range with my son a couple of months ago and he was shooting a handgun for the first time. He was having trouble hitting the target and one of the other shooters had a piece of paper that had kind of a pie chart on it, the center was a bulls eye and the pieces of the pie were what you were doing wrong if you weren't hitting the bulls eye. (For instance if you were shooting low and to the right around the 5 o'clock area then you were squeezing your fingers on your trigger hand to tight or if you were hitting high and left you were jerking your trigger finger when pulling the trigger) That isn't exactly how it was, but you get the idea, anyway, I was wondering if anyone else has seen that or has one. If so could you please post a copy of it, I wish I would have taken a picture of it but I didn't know he wanted it back until after my son had given it back to him and he left.

Yes, that's it! My son is left handed and we just reversed everything for him and he was shooting much better after about a half hour. Thanks norahc.

Right click the pic in Jacks post and save it to your computer. then just print it. It is perfectly sized for 8.5X11 sheets of paper. I have been using the hell out of them for the past coupel weeks. Ive had a half dozen new shooters come to me seeking some handgun instruction and I find these pie chart targets priceless practiced material.

Start em at 7 yards and gradually move the distance back as you master the handgun.
