Short revolver Arendt Brevete.

    Hello.
    I found this pistol from manufacturer Arendt Breve.Can anyone help me for this year production gun?It is 7.65 cal.

    Welcome to the forum.

    According to this website, a Maurice Arendt was registered with Liege, Belgium proofhouse 1857-1889, but I believe your gun is later than that: http://www.littlegun.be/arme belge/artisans identifies a/a arendt gb.htm

    Look on the rear face of cylinder for an ELG in oval Liege proofmark: If there's a crown on top of the oval, it was made after 1892 and as late as 1914.

    Brevete just means patent.

    7.65mm indicates it's chambered for the .32 Auto round, which is semi-rimmed and used in many such Belgian revolvers.

    After 1900 certainly as the 7,65mm Browning (.32 ACP) came on the market with the Model 1900 Browning pistol.

    Value on all those guns is fairly low. That one appears to have been rusted and cleaned, so my WAG would be around $100 or less.
