If the (misnamed) SAFE act remains in effect, thereby legally limiting my carry gun magazine capacity to seven rounds, I've decided that I might wish to choose a different gun to carry. Currently I carry a Glock 27 .40 S&W. But, the way I see it, I would rather have seven rounds of .45 Auto than seven rounds of .40 S&W. I have a full sized Sig 220 now, but I'm rather short and can't conceal it well. I'm considering the 220 compact. ANY THOUGHTS ??? The Springfield XD-S also has my attention. I'm very comfortable with both the striker fired action, and the traditional double action of the Sig. I have never gotten used to a single action auto as a carry gun, so to all you 1911 fans, don't bother. I own a few Colts, Kimbers, and such, but for me they are not carry guns.
So, all that being said, have you any thoughts on the matter ? Suggestions that I haven't considered ?
