The only SIG I have is a Mosquito, and it's a bit smaller than most of the others. It fits my hand like a glove, but the bigger calibers are just a little big for my liking.

Hopefully I will get used to one, though, because the Mosquito has been great for me, and I'd like to get a 9mm.

I haven't used a Sig, but I did have the chance to hold one and it's a nice gun and felt good, even unloaded. And from what I hear from everyone who has one, it's a great line of pistols with little to no problems. Very rarely do you get a "Friday Gun".

My first purchase was a 220. A great 'first' gun, after the break in, no problems. Shot reloads, factory loads, etc with ease. Sold it (for almost what I paid) because I like the feel of the D/Action Smiths, and after finding a cherry 4003 and a 1006, it became a safe queen.

Started shooting comp with a 226. Son still uses it when he finds the time to shoot a match with me. Wife passed her CCW class using it. Couldn't get rid of it if I wanted to. Picked up a 220 somewhere/when, and used it in the last IDPA match I shot.

Love my P229 40S&W/357Sig. Got a sight pusher (smiths would do it...by hand) and put a set of TruGlo fiber optic on as a birthday present to my eyes. Would be my only gun if I had to choose between the 10 I own.

Just got my first one last week, always wanted one but they are a bit expensive. Bought it from a guy who wanted to get rid of it because he is left handed and did not like it and now ITS ALLL MINE :D:D:D

I have a sig 229 Equinox and it is a dream to shoot, extermely accurate right out of the box, they are expensive, but in my opinion, totally worth it!

Had a preban 226 that was fantastic except it was a 9mm. Loved 45 acp to much and traded it off towards a 1911.

I have one Sig GSR with a light rail underneath in SS and I love it as well.

My 226 was a bit too big, double-stacked magazine, you know. I got a "short trigger" from www.topgunsupply.com, which is really a "thin trigger" and that made all the difference in the grip.

Shot one of their autos, not a big fan. It just didn't do anything to excite me. Wouldn't mind trying one of their 1911's though.

Edit: I voted too expensive just because they didn't excite me, I'd probably have bought one if it was $200 though so *shrug*

Heh, my point was nothing about Sig excited me, I shot one of their autos and I didn't dislike the gun, but it didn't do anything to impress me. The XD I shot amazingly, USP I love the trigger variants, etc. etc. Sig failed, so to me it is too expensive, not worth the same kind of dough those other weapons were.

However, a bullet on point is a bullet on point, doesn't matter which gun fired it. So had the sig been $200, and significantly less than the guns I thoroughly enjoyed, I would have bought one. IE: My conclusion that they are too expensive. :D

My wife has a 9mm and I have a .40SW. We LOVE them. Utterly reliable and, IMHO, well worth the money
