Okay here is a good one. I have a S&W Revolver that looks pretty used. I imagine it is not worth much, but you never know. I do not see what it is. Do you know what this is and what it could be worth?

Thanks in advance, I am loving this forum...

You have a Model 36, current value is around $400 in my area. Open your cylinder and the model # is stamped on the frame boss..

If your gun is stainless steel (hard to tell from the photos) then it is a S&W Model 60 revolver. If it is blued or nickel then it is a S&W Model 36 revolver.

Open the cylinder and look on the frame for a model number. From the photos I can tell your gun was made between 1968-1982, but if you post the serial number (on the butt of the gun) I'll get the exact year.
