But I finally got the Remington Mosin Nagant. And looks like I got it before Bubba got his stinking fingers on it. Paid way too much, but I've been trying to find an unaltered one for a long time.

Well, since the numbers don't all match, I doubt it.

Y'all know this is coming right? Where are the TARGETS?

And I am a wee bit envious...maybe a little bit more than a wee bit.

I have a 91 'Finn with the Konovalov rear sights like yours. It has the 1940 Finn barrel. I wish I could find a Remmie . Are the rear sites still marked in arshins on yours? Congratulations on such a nice find.

PS- Those tiny screws in front of the barrel bands do serve a purpose. I couldn't figure out what so I left mine off when I cleaned it . After about three rounds the bands walked forward and the top handguard went about 20 feet down range! Oops! :D
