Over the last 35 years I`ve picked up quite a collection of nice rimfires. And a week ago I finally moved part way into the 21st century and got a digital camera, and now that I`ve kind of half way learned how to use it, I thought I would show off a few of them while learning to use the camera.
I`ll probably bore everyone to death with this thing. I`ll be taking gun pictures like most people do of their kids.<grin>

    Browning Challenger

Colt 2nd Amendment (When I was much younger I once swore I would never own a gun I couldn`t shoot, but I`ve since made a few exceptions to that rule and this is one of them)

    Colt Diamondback .22

    S&W model 41

    A few more.

    S&W model 63

    S&W model 18

    Ruger Slabside

Colt Police Positive Target .22 (this old critter isn`t much of a looker anymore, lots of finish wear, but she`s still a good shooter)

And a couple more. This isn`t all of them. I`ve more to bore you with, but it will do for now.<grin>

My favorite is one that I have not put up a picture of, at least not yet, A High Standard Victor.
It is the most accurate pistol I own, has an excellent trigger and feels like it was just made for your hand. I`m very fond of just about all of these, but the Victor is the best of the bunch.
I really like the older guns that were machined instead of cast or stamped. Back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s good .22s were as much works of art as they were pistols.

It operates flawlessly, but like any of the itty bitty mouse guns it`s difficult to hit anything beyond about 15 feet.

    Raveneap,

Those are some nice pop guns you have there. I always was a sucker for S&Ws and Colts.

Question. How well does that little .22 Luger shoot?
Alway thoght I`d like to have one, but never ran across one that was in good shape and reasonable priced.

Actually, it shoots really well. I was apprehensive when I bought it as I'd read a lot of horror stories about them having ftf,fte etc. But got it for a reasonable price and it's been slick. tons of fun. I'd love to have an actual Luger but so far haven't found one that fits the gun budget.

Crpdeth, It's Ruger Single Six with fixed sights and a 6 1/2" barrel. When I got the gun it was a good shooter as it was from the box except for the trigger had some creep and I prefer the wieght and balance of the stainless Single Sixes. I smoothed the action reworked the sear on the hammer. I changed the grip frame to a steel NM XR3 and also replaced the ejector housing with a steel replacement. I changed the trigger spring but left the original hammer strut spring in. The forcing cone was centered and in good shape but I polished it anyway. In my opinion almost all bad shooting Single Sixes can be traced down to bad forcing cones causing lead build up. Just for fun I modified the loading gate to an old style flatgate. The finish is a medium bead blast and then blued and the hammer was CCH. It's my favorite Single Six that I have owned in 37 years of shooting.

I can see why, Rick... She's a beauty AND a shooter, whats not to love? :)

Thanks for the detailed information, I'd love to have one just like it someday.
