    WE had a little old Polish lady that lived in our town when we were growing up and she gave us a nickle for every sparrow we could shoot for her..

    Since .22 shells were $5 a brick of 500 that was a pretty good deal.

    I guess she made some sort of pot pie or just baked them in the oven.

    Did any of you all ever hear of such a thing?

    Did you have any recipies for them?

    She might have just been a Bluebird fanatic. The Bluebird people hate sparrows no end, and come up with every manner of diabolical plans to eradicate them from the face of the earth.
    I can't see trying to make food out of something like that, especially considering what would be left of it after taking a round of .22!
