Stevens pistol ID

    Any information on this pistol would be helpful also a approximate value if possible
    I have posted some photos i hope they help
    Barrel is 6" long serial number is 80006
    believe it fires .22 cal

    That is a really neat little pistol!

    Here's what I found:

    It is a Stevens Diamond No. 43 ; !st or 2nd issue (can't tell from the pics).

    The 1st; 1886-1886
    The 2nd; 1896-1916

    .22 short; .22LR; for both; the 2nd issue also shot .22 Stevens-Pope (?).

    Spur trigger; 6"or !0" barrel.

    John E. Traisters' book; Antique Guns; shows this little gun as valued @ $140-$290.
