I have some brass, well nickel plated, that is for .357 Magnum and marked TEXAS on the headstamp. Anyone ever heard of or have experience with this brass?

Never seen nor heard of and nothing on google. Maybe a Texan with to much money had them made up.

I've got a bunch of that nickel "Texas" headstamped .357 brass too. Got it from Midway back in the early 90s, and if I remember right it was made by Starline for some commemorative and Midway picked up the leftovers.

Good brass. Just had a few of the usual split cases after a dozen loadings or so...that was typical regardless of brand whenever I ran nickeled brass through my Taurus .357

It will probably be over sized and unusable since every thing is bigger in Texas.

Thank you, Bindernut and everyone that replied. I was not sure where I got this but I've had it for quite some time now and thought that maybe Midway USA was where I got it but I was not sure.

Horrible stuff. And since I'm in need of 357 I'll stoop to take it off your hands:D

Throw it out, only 2 good things coming out of Texas are I35 and I40:D:D:D. I remember seeing a few of them in my own stash of brass a few years back.
