It is pretty obvious, Shiz that you never read the book "None Dare Call It Treason" back in the 60's about Lyndon B. Johnson. This was a book that was totally documented.

    Next Case!

Inplano, it was one of the best that I have ever read. And, as you said, the documentation was absolutely spectacular.

I would recommend it to anyone that can get their hands on a copy. It might give one an understanding of how all the crooked ones do it so easily.

I'm sure that many of today's pols would cringe if it were to make a comeback.....

Marlin, it was an underground publication to begin with and I doubt that many copies still exist. However, it was a real eye opener, wasn't it! Ask how many of the people that lived through that era if they even know about what went on and they will undoubtable tell you , NO! However, the farsical whimsies that are now appearing are just that,

    Fairy Tales!

It appears that None Dare Call It Treason is out of print. Zshops at show to have 39 copies for as little as $2.00 for a hardcover. John Stormer has more recently written None Dare Call It Education: What's Happening to Our Schools & Our Children? My good friend Michelle tells me that another of his books, Growing Up God's Way is her all-time favorite child-training book, especially recommending his chapter on Character. Both are currently available at Amazon.

The book that you have found is not the same one I am talking about. The "None Dare Call it Treason" was about Lyndon B. Johnson and his use of his position on the FCC to make sure that the radio and TV stations he wanted to buy and keep to his empire were allowed to let their license expire and then he was allowed to buy them up. This is only one of the facets that he and his wife used to acquire land and prosperity in Texas.

The book you outlined above has nothing to do with this. It is another treatise. The real book is probably out of print for >30 years. Black and red cover on the soft edition. I do not ever recall there being a hardback.

It sounds interesting. I'll need to dig a little deeper and see if I can find what you're talking about.

Inplano, I have a copy in my personal library. Knowing it is now rare, I treasure the foresight I had to have bought and kept it.

A real eye-opener, Ziggy, isn't the word for it! It fit in very well, or dovetailed, with a thesis I did in college on a similar subject reguired for graduation with an American History major. My chosen subject, "How Rosevelt sold the free world down the river at Yalta." I, too, like the author of the LBJ book meticulously documented the items I included in that paper for a very socialist, anti-american professor.....
