    Good example, Carver!

I have spent years in the woods in Alaska.
There is a BIG bear population there.
Yet, I never found the body of a dead bear in the woods -

Sometimes just after, or during, deer season, I might find a dead deer that got away from a hunter, but I never find the bodies of deer that die form natural causes.

Maybe Big Foot is a scavenger, and eats all the dead bears, and deer! :D

Exactly why I don't even think of going hunting in Southern California; lots of punks (wanna be gang members) go out and shoot at anything that moves without ID-ing it first. Some of them know they are shooting at people, and don't care. Wearing orange hunting gear just makes it easier for them.

    Try a sign that says:

"I have a GREAT lawyer on retainer!"

Saw it every year while growing up in the Midwest. Some city boy gets all excited because he got his first deer, and it turned out to be somebody's cow.

Well if you are a 2nd Lt butter bar you can ask a Pvt to go shake the nearest tree so you can see it move on your map to ID where you are:D

I wouldn't say that. They find "extinct" fish every year in the ocean. And, how often does say the average person see a baby turkey or even a baby pigeon. Not often, but we know they have to exist. And, look at dogs and cats they will wander off to die and you don't find their bodies.

In some states, Big Foot has been declared an endangered species and it's illegal to harvest one as with any endagnered species. Just sayin...
