Anyone have experience with any AR-based pistols, the Kel Tec PLR-16, or similar guns? Are they awkward to load/shoot compared to a regular handgun?

The Kel-Tec,PLR-16 is more of a sawed-off AR than a hand gun. It gets hand gun status only on the technicality that it has no stock or fore grip down piece. The FNH .223 pistol is more of a handgun. The Kel-Tec Pm-30 is .22mag. but more handgunish than the PLR-16. IMHO, these types of weapons fall into the category of the Judge line of pistols, that is, a novelty gun that would be fun to have for no other reason than wanting one and having the spare change to buy it.
