Just maybe too much of a good thing. My butt is dragging after today. Skip had asked to go to the range today to try out his new to him Winchester Model 62. Well I hadn't recovered from yesterday but how can you resist another day at the range and with just Skip and I well I can just sit around and watch right. Well when we got to the range my cousin, along with Bob and Jim were waiting on us and had started setting up the range. So much for an easy day. Turned out to be one of the best days shared with friends.

Skips Model 62 is sweet, what can you say about one Winchester's classic .22 rim fire rifles. It shoots as good as it looks. As you can see from the guns spread on the table we shot a lot more than that little rifle.

A Daddy Long Legs had the nerve to crawl on to a silhouette target set up at the 50' range and I called to Jim to get his Win. Wildcat .22lr. Aha, one shot one kill as they say. No more Daddy.

I am really looking forward to bed tonight but guess what? I have to find the strength to go again tomorrow as I am to meet and engineer friend and one of our State Senators at the range tomorrow afternoon for some plinking. Now I can't resist the chance to talk guns with a sitting State Senator can I?

But if any of you want to go shoot on Saturday I will give you the combination to the lock because I may just sleep all day long.

You got that right Josh. I slept to ten this morning not counting potty breaks. :D

Now I got guns to clean and ammo to load.

That dont make you a bad person, Todd. LOL

I cant sleep that late anymore. Getting up at 5 is pretty well a habit now. Plus it's deer season, so I'm off to the woods any time I am not at work.

No kiddin! I tried to sleep in qa little bit, during this break we get during fishing seasons, and hunting. I was still out of bed before 0630. Force of habit I spose. I need to get my cowboy shooter league friends together for a weekend of lead flyin. I'd have to sleep for a month after hangin out with them for any series of days in a row! Hahaha! They are as intense as the guys they idolize/imitate!

I agree Jeff. I always thought at a certain age men should stop wearing shorts, say about 8 years old. :D
