Hi thought I'd share a pic or two at the range today.
The first one is of me and the rifle I built from the comp forum The Build.

The second is of my youngest daughter also at the range .
The third is a pic of same daughter after she trashed everyone at shooting 22lr at two hundred yards. Her final score was 8/10 . She was useing open sights. and a seemingly stock rem 597 eh eh eh eh

I was the only one not shooting against my daughter. I was tryng to fine tune my scope and breaking in the barrel . So far I am now holding a consistant group of under one inch at 100 yards. The actual pick of me is cleaning my glasses. I had the rim of one 22lr blow off when it was fired. --defictive round and no damage.

As for the weather, you'r right it is way to cold for this time of the year.
A few hours after the pics were taken , we had a really good snow storm.

    if i may

from the other thread what you had sounds like a burr , i mean it can throw the projectiles off after scoring them (settin them off balance) but many burrs just "shoot off" but do check the mussle for any lead/ coating residue in case

its pretty common after cutting crowns ..

Jack, thank you for the advice. I will check the crown and make sure all is as it should be.

Just finished checking the crown with a magnifing glass and all seems to be ok.
I haven't cleaned the rifle yet , but I have noticed an absolutly perfict star patern of residue on the crown. I have seen these paterns on the muzzel before but never one that was perfict in geomitry. I do believe that the crown is about as good as you can get it.
