At deer camp we keep things simple. When it comes to marinade we use Italian salad dressing and whatever is handy for spices to tenderize meat.
Its amazing what hungry hunters will endure in the woods. Everyone loves it!
What do you use when its your turn to cook?

I use this recipie for a marinade and a bunch of other things. Including cooking roast in a crock pot, dipping sauce for brats, and mixing in meatloaf. Just one word of advice on this one, don't cook vegtables in it. They come out nasty. Use it with any meat and its good though.

Mix all this in a gallon jug.
    1/2- gallon apple cider
1- bottle of Frenchs yellow mustard
Put the cap on and shake well now or the mustard won't break up
Now for the rest of the ingredients.......
    1/2-bottle soy sauce
1/2-bottle whoshtershire sauce(or however you spell it)
1-full bottle (small) tobasco sauce(NO!!! Its not to much)
    2-bottles K.C.Masterpiece bar-b-que sauce
1-beer of your choice(I prefer Old Mill)
1-teaspoon crushed red peppers(Add more or less for your taste)
Now put the cap on and shake it up real good.
Put it in the fridge for 2 days and shake again before using.
