I have a mod 94 Winchester serial # 1265373, and is in great shape , some bluing gone, no holes or scratches on
stock, really looks good. what would the value be? I would send pictures, but do not know how.
The serial number tells us that it was manufactured in February 1941. Does it have a "W" stamped below the serial number (see the attached picture)?
You did not tell us which caliber it is e.g. 25-35 WCF, 30 WCF, or 32 WS.
In regards to the condition, the butt stock has been altered. Somebody removed the original steel butt plate and installed a non-factory original vented recoil pad.
With a cut/altered butt stock, and a non-factory recoil pad installed, your Model 94 is a "shooter" grade gun. It will have very little interest in the collector market (which is where the deep pockets roam). Consequently, the value is approximately $500, and as you approach that amount, the number of potential buyers will rapidly decrease.
