Excellent. One thing I liked in the US was suddenly finding various animals alongside the road. In the UK they are mostly in the road, and flat!

Hey, give her a few years to grow and fatten up....... Darn near out of moose meat.
  4. I bet most of them are American gray squirrels, Tranter. You see, American gray squirrels are genetically conditioned to believe that people drive on the right side of the road. :D;)

Pistol, anything that does in gray squirrels is good as far as I'm concerned. I've never tasted moose meat, does it taste anything close to venison?

I grew up when "venison" meant the meat of 4-legged wild critters. It took exposure to non-English speaking people (Americans :p ) to get used to using it exclusively for deer.
