w jones muzzleloader

    i have an old double barrel muzzleloader flint lock on the top it says london and on the side it says w jones any body have an idea how old it might be or where it comes from?

    Chances are it's a percussion lock and not a flintlock, but only a photo will confirm what you have. If you can remove the barrels, there will probably be proof marks on underside of breech end.

    Ditto on what said so far. bottom line is pictures, pictures, and more pictures are a MUST.
