It has been decades for me without consumtion, but I would vote it legal
in a second. It should be legal in your home, and as far as driving, there
should be a level, like with alcohol. We don't want folks driving too slow.

So pot should be legal but there should be speed laws? If you don't want government intervention you've got to trash can all of it not just the parts that suit you.

That is a silly response, you. Me thinks you're just a pot hater. I am sorry
the long hairs gave you such grief as a teenager.

When did I say I didn't want Government intervention. It would be madness
without laws against bad things. Pot just ain't one of the "bad" things.

When people vote, there are things voted to suit "us", not me. It isn't even
close to all or nothing. The people vote for parts that suited them. It IS all
about that parts that suit us.

I don't smoke weed (or eat brownies) becuase as a hard working adult,
I don't want my things confinscated by the Government. That doesn't
mean I wouldn't vote it legal is the vote came up. **** this for medicinal
purposes crud. That is just some shrinks looking for more billable visits.
Just like gay marriage is for all the divorce attorneys giddy about all the
    furture work.

I don't have rose colored glasses. I don't like church hyms, and a nice little
weed buzz in my evening wouldn't hurt you. I will on occassion just reach for
the alcohol for an attitude adjustment. We the people still have that legal,
although I think it damages many things outside the body.

I'll bet you and I are really close in ways when paring us up againt the
radical jihads, but your refer madness is too paranoid to see that.

    The best to us.

haha, yeah I noticed that too. I used it because it's an example of what I think is an ill-informed law.

For the record...I've smoked pot before...but never inhaled. Nah, I don't touch that stuff.

when no one cared it was $10 a oz and some folks couldn't give it away

Please don't "source" wikipedia for anything. It can be updated/written by anyone out there with their facts all wrong. It's not allowed to be a source for any publication or research paper at any school. Wikipedia is right about 10 percent of the time if that.

And, OMG, for the billionth time, Ron Paul did NOT advocate the legalization of pot. What he advocates is for the FEDeral government to get OUT of the drug chasing business (with all of its wasteful spending - you know, the ineffective / joke war on drugs), and LET the STATES have the power to decide how to handle it. IF the state wants to legalize it, then they should be allowed to. It's a states rights issue. NOT a federal issue.

Now that's funny right there. I smoked pot as a teen. I also saw what it can do. I lost one of my best friends and his sister from pot use. So yeah I detest pot now. I was the long hair giving everybody grief tho. Hell I'm 55 now and still have long hair.

This was me about 25 years ago.
