Not quite how i feel about this, Cop at home here on charges for carelss driving while in a pursuit!

Is this PC gone MAD or is this accountability.

When i was a driver in the fire service we had very little defense if we had an accident in fact we could be held liable under lights and siren, i was talking to an american counterpart once and he said they could do what ever they wanted with out fear of repercussion.

Which way is best for our services accountability or indemnity?

Being the brother of a LEO here, I can guarantee you that dispatchers call off persuits ALL the time. And for very GOOD reasons.

I don't see where 'PC' has ever been an issue. It's about public safety.
