Western ammo boxes

    Hi , pictured below is two Western ammo boxes, can someone
    tell me how old they are ??

    That style of logo started in 1960 & was used until the mid sixties.

    If your box has the "child warning" printed on it it was put out later & if it's without the warning it'll be closer to 1960.

    You can sell it on e-bay for probably 15 bucks but I think it's cool & worth keeping. If you have a wood type gun cabinet with the glass panel it'd look great peeking out thru the glasss from a shelf or whatever. I have a cabinet like that & in the middle I have a "brown & white" old timey photo of my wife with her girlfriend when they were 16 taken with them in dance hall girl outfits & they're holding 1851 Navy revolvers. I put old ammo boxes on either side. The box you have would be great because of the really bright colors.
