My nephew in law set up an outing today while my wife and I are in town. We had 12 people, my 4Runner, my nephews Wrangler, an AR-15, M4, two 12ga shotguns, a 16ga shotgun, two 22 rifles, an XD 40, a RIA 45, my 357 magnum ruger, a walther 380, and some tannerrite.

After lots of rounds, explosions, destroyed pictures of Bin Laden, mudslingin, and laughs, we had a great day out!

I personally shot every firearm, blew up a couple cans of tannerite, and slung some of the mud so what a great day.

Pics added below. Im in the leather and my nephew is the one holding the Bin Laden photo. My wife is behind the camera.

we got to do some shooting today with my boss and his grandson. ended up selling him a bolt action marlin 25n for his first gun. He tried out about five different ones and liked it the most. I hate to part with a gun but it feels pretty good to start a youngster off with a 22 to start shooting. We broke out the 44 mag blackhawk and the 38 snubbies to make some noise too. every day shooting is fun.

Hows that tannerite? I've always thought about getting a can or two but is it worth it? Hows the sound and visual effects?

The tannerite is pretty fun. You can mix a lot or a little. Hitting one can doesnt make too big an explosion but it sounds cool and theres no question whether you hit or not haha. we blew 5 cans at the end though and made a decent hole in the ground haha. it was fun but worth it? meh, we had fun so sure.

As I always say any day at the range is a good day.
I have shot some tannerite a few different times. It is fun stuff, makes a good little cloud of smoke and the bang lets you know you got it. I want to get some for exploding pumpkins next year.

You can relax. The gun wasnt loaded in that pic actually. Trust me, we may be young but we are safe and experienced. We had a couple soldiers, Army and Marines, in that group.

Now tannerite and pumpkis would be fun!
