"Dad, why did you and mom vote for this mental midget, Romney? He's continued to tax and spend away our future, and is even considering another assault weapons ban. Dad, I really wanted to get an AR when I grew up, but now I can't. What were you thinking???? And now, he wants to go to war with everybody. Can we afford that?"

I will NOT have that conversation with my kids. EVER. Period. :D

I will not vote for one dictator over another one, just because the PARTY said it was the right thing to do, or party members do. :bleh:

I will write in a dead president's name before pulling the lever for the charlatan Romney.

I know this position makes me an evil, unpatriotic person. Pffffffft. :bleh: Next, I'll be accused of being anti-gun.

    Oh, and....... take 53. ;)

Why would a write-in or a non vote be better than a vote against obama?

If I had a choice of obama or road kill for president, I would have to vote for road kill. It couldn't be any worse.

It wont be better, it WILL be a vote for Obama. Ron Paul is NOT going to be president, so make the best of what we have to work with.

Yeah, I said that, at the end of that last post. And whatever I did to offend you, I'm sorry.

What part of "Romney is just as bad" do you NOT understand?

So, instead of shooting yourself in the head with a .38 you're going to use a .32?

    Insanity.

I don't think Romney will be as bad. I don't like him but better him than another four of Obama. It's funny how on all the different gun forums I frequent some of them are almost totally filled with dyed in the wool nobody is better than Ron Paul fanatics and others the majority can't stand him.

From what I gather this DA is signing legislation that he has no idea what it is? Sounds more like a Liberal to me. Imagine the fun if he manages to become president.

I find it increasingly disturbing that those that are anti-Ron Paul have no idea what his background is, they haven't read his platform, they don't know his voting record, nor have they read anything he's written to see what he believes. They simply take, as gospel, what the media feeds them. And what the media is feeding is "vote Romney." And, the "fair and balanced" network is the biggest offender.

Guess what, if someone "tells" me that they're fair and balanced in their viewpoint, that's a HUGE red flag. Because they're not.

Common sense SHOULD tell you that whoever the media doesn't want to talk about, and doesn't like - that's YOUR guy. Pretty frickin' simple.

The fact that he's a constitutionalist, and the closest to our founders of anyone in this generation, is the deciding factor. If you LIKE government control, dabbling in your life, lots of wars, and spending, then don't vote for Paul; vote for one of the other three soon to be dictators, depending on which one gets in.

Track records matter. We all found that out the hard way with our present dictator. But for some reason, the track records of the 3 front runners in the R camp DON'T matter, once again. We will get either Dictator O, or Dictator R.

All because people keep believing the stupid media.

Hey, when they're loading you and your families into the rail cars to the camps, be sure to keep believing what the media tells you - that it's all for your good.

I don't believe what the media says and I have heard what he believes and wants to do. Some of his ideas are good but some are so far off the wall it ain't funny. I do not like Romney but I think he's the one we're going to have.

I think you are right, that Romney will be the one.

Unfortunately, the other three guys' views are a LOT scarier than Paul's. They don't believe in cutting spending like we need to. They don't believe in properly shrinking the government like we need to. They don't believe in non-interventionist policies but will continue the warmongering.

I like Ron Paul, but he put himself in the position not to win. He could have refined his foreign policy stance some not to scare so many people away (that is most people's complain on him from what I gather). We have to be proactive in modern times to prevent other 9/11 scenarios. I love the fact that he believe on the true meaning of our Constitution....and wants to get back to the basics.

I don't really care for Romney, but anyone other than Obozo works for me.

I would have much rather be dealing with Perry or Santurum in the end.

If the choice is either Obomney or Obummer, I will write-in for Ron Paul, and I believe a lot of other people will too. Imagine having someone win the election with write-in votes!

I doubt it would happen though. Even if Ron Paul got 90% of all the votes in the country, even if the electoral college chooses him, the government will not let him be president. If he wins, when he shows up for his inauguration he'll be escorted off the scene by the SS.

There is no way someone who doesn't belong to the establishment can be president :(

Which could be all it takes to give Obama another four.

If you vote for Ron Paul, you might as well vote for Obama, Ron Paul has NO CHANCE to win. Most people think of Paul as a wacko. He and Obama will let Iran develop a nuke and use it on Israel or perhaps on us because "We're the great satan". I honestly believe that Obama is a firm believer in the Muslim religion, and our country is at great peril if he has a second term. Vote, but make it a vote for a winner to put him OUT! Paul is not a republican, he's a Libertarian. In my opinion, the ideal candidates are Romney for pres. and Newt Gingrich as V.P. Gingrich is much better on his feet in a debate than Romney. Newt has the guts to talk down the liberal media. MAKE SURE YOU ALSO VOTE FOR Republican Senators and Congressmen. The Democrats in the Senate are deliberatly blocking all legislation and you all know it....

I really sympathize with Ron Paul supporters and do like the man, but facts are facts, and that Dr. Paul can not win IS fact. I wish I were wrong. I've said before if everyone who likes Ron Paul but will vote for someone else because they don't think he can win, would in fact vote for Paul, he WOULD win. But the numbers don't indicate that can happen.

So because Romney truly is no conservative you would stand on principle and not vote for him? What principle will get you is four more years of Obama. I don't like Romney but anyone who thinks he is no better than Obama has an awfully high opinion of Obama. I loathe brussel sprouts but if the choice was between them and whale ****, I'd eat the brussel sprouts, and if I was starving I wouldn't give up the opportunity on an outside chance there might be strawberries on the moon.

I like a lot of what RP says but he says some things I cannot get behind. If he got the nomination I would vote for him but it wouldn't really be a vote for him but a vote against Obama. I'd much rather have Romney than Obama. I'd rather have Romney than RP and I really do not like Romney but it looks like he's going to be it.
