I got this Remmington .22 recently and can't find out any info on it.

There is no model # on it.

Any ideas of model #, year, value, etc???

    Thanks,

    Russ.....

I have no idea poolhustler, but think it's a very cool little rifle & wouldn't mind owning it!! I'm sure someone who knows something about it will be along shortly to give you an answer!

    Welcome to TFF!

@ Poollhustler: below is a quote from a Google search that I did re: your mod. 16 Remington. At 1st, I thought you had a regular old rifle chambered in 22LR. After reading the quote below, I found out that I was wrong.

A good thing to know the difference as using the wrong ammunition could be dangerous! Hope the above info has been helpfull!

FWIW - Just 1 of many reasons why I do my own little internet search on interesting old firearms!! Before today, I knew nothing about Remington 22 Automatic shells. Thanks for posting Poolhustler!!

*ETA: & many thanks to Ron for enlightening us as to the model!!

So what if it's not an every day shooter.....it's still VERY KOOL!! ;)

    WOW!!

    That's pretty sweet PH,
I wonder if you could get it re-chambered for the .22LR?

    Just a thought.....

22 long rifle will not cycle through the action. Note, Cartridges of the World is a book every one should have.:) There is also a Winchester 22 Auto cartridge , the two are not interchangable. You have a wall hanger.
