    What % of gun owners are women? Guess before looking!

    2011 - 23% - way to go ladies ;)
    2010 - 15%
    2009 - 13%

    I guessed 28%.But 23%wasn't to far off.

    I thought maybe 19 because it's historically been so male and hunting dominated.

    CCW is probably boosting the numbers and more will still come aboard.

    i bet a lot of the women out there are not registered cause they are on their land and use hubbies or boyfriends guns

    No offense but.... I'm not buyin it. I'm not sure that 1 in 4 men are firearm owners.
    How many claimed they are owners cuz they got 'em in the house'?

    Forgive me if I look at MSM polls with a bit of skeptimism. :rolleyes:

    Good point.

    They might use dad's, hubbies', grandpa's guns but look at the trend line that's changing. Getting close to 1/4 and climbing.

    I thought about 30%. but i do know that its on the climb. I have friends and coworkers that there wifes or GF's shoot but let the man buy the gun for them just because they are scared to do the paperwork. They feel that its the mans job to buy the guns.
