What states allow ownership of machine guns and sub guns? I know Kentucky is and I think Colorado but what are the facts?

    Thanks

The site isn't really clear at what "Yes" and "No" means. I assume that it means that yes or no means you can or can't own one.

    example.:
State | Machine Gun | Suppressor | Short Barrel Rifle | Short Shotgun | Any Other Weapon | Special Provisions
    Alabama | Yes | Yes | No | No | Yes

I live in CT, we used to be the Arsenal of the World; we have since been turned 180 degrees. We can own supressors as well as full-auto. There are so many changes since I got my STEN that it is hard to keep up. Every June I have to sign a state affadavit stating that I still have the arm or to whom I have transfered it to..... Here are some pics of my STEN with the tubular and loop stock installed...long live the Class 3!

Funny, at least thus far suppressors are perfectly legal here (Finland), even for hunting. I.e. you donĀ“t need any permit to own or buy one.

here in "God's Country" (N.C.) it is perfectly legal to have class three items.. several of the local gus stores sell smg's and silencers. the catch is the hoops that have to be jumped thru to obtain the right to own them, $200 ATF form 4 + 3 forms of id. once the atf responds a permit must be purchased from the sheriff's office, & THEN AND ONLY THEN can more money to purchase the class three item specified on the ATF Form 4.
