Got up this morning and fixed a nice pot of black coffee. Then got to work and fried up some hashbrowns with green peppers and onions with little smokies mixed in. When that was done I mixed in some stirred up eggs, salt and pepper. Toasted some home made bread and covered that with fresh creamery butter. One of my favorite breakfasts. UUUUMMMMMM!!! Those were fresh eggs too, they just left the chickens butt yesterday( hhmmm that doesn't sound as good as they tasted).:D

Hot grits, three eggs over easy, ham and fresh biscuits. The eggs go on top of the grits, all mixed well. Don't knock it if you haven't had it. (Hash browns also sometimes take the place of the grits)

We do the biscuts and sausage gravy here to most mornings. If the wife ain't up by 8, then I usually settle for some strong coffee, and a beagle! :D Today, it was just coffee! Comunity Dark Roast!

My wife had left over Dog food!

No BS. We went out for dinner last night and she ordered a huge Rib Eye steak. Of course she couldn't eat it all so she took the rest home. My son came home late and raided the fridge along with the left over steak. He never ate the steak, he left it on the table and went to bed. When I got up I found my dog gnawing on this huge piece of meat on the living room floor. I took it away, put the steak on a paper plate on the table and took him outside. When I came back in I found my wife eating what was left of her steak. Even told me "Thank you" for taking the bone out and setting it out for her breakfast. :bleh:

    Should I tell her???

Steve....obviously your wife doesn't read this stuff.
My brekkie.... Something sourdough.. Biscuits, pancakes...you ought to try my famous gut bombs - sourdough cinnamon rolls....big ones. Had my pot (sourdough) with me for over 40 years. Speaks lots to my metabolism...gotta be high or I'd lots more than I do.

Lot's of black coffee, as usual, some really good fancy, dark, oatmeal with milk, apple butter, a banana and some raisins for seasoning. Little bit later had a couple small oranges and a small grapefruit. Trying to be healthy. Lost a bunch of weight and want to keep it that way.

I had strawberry pancakes, eggs and bacon. Not a bad breakfast for being at work!
