Winchester 250 lever gun, My Uncle gave it to me when I was 9 for a christmas present. I gave it back to him a couple years ago for him to hand it down to his grandson. It was a fun gun.

First gun I ever bought, In 1966 when I was 16 and worked in the hardware dept. of a store next to the sporting goods, well I saved up and got a Winchester 290 the guy there even setup my Weaver 3x6 variable scope. Loved that gun, still have it.

I never liked the scope, took it off. The W290 .22 S/L/LR has the fancy checkering and woodword as compared to the plain W190, same gun.

Remington Nylon 66 given to me by my Dad when I was young. Was a great rifle that I wish I still had but some A-hole burglar stole it and all my guns, stereo, records when I was about 22. Also got my wonderful Colt Frontier Scout and the hand made leather quick draw rig I made for it.

My first 22 was a Winchester 69. Bought in 1960 or 61. Think i paid $54 for it with a 4 power Weaver scope. In the 60's that rifle went every where with me. Still have it. I also have my fathers old Remington model 12 and my grandfathers Remington model 34. Damn those two rifles are older than i am. Killed a lot of woodchucks and crows with the old model 34. I think it was the first 22 i ever shot.

A Harrington & Richardson Pioneer, single-shot. Well, my brother and I shared it. He killed many squirrels with it, out of necessity.

Mine was a Stevens bolt action, clip fed 6 shot. I don't remember the model. It was a good shooter though.

Winchester Model 110 single shot. Got it for Christmas right after I turned 9. I begged my parents for a Crosman 760 pellet rifle and they told me that it was too powerful and to forget it. I was so upset that there wasn't a present under the tree for me.....until all the rest of the brothers had gotten their presents......low and behold there was a long skinny box way back under the tree hiding. I was so overcome with joy I still remember it 40+ years ago. The very first shot with it the next morning accounted for a huge grey squirrel. :)
Still have it and it has accounted for a many a critters up to and including deer.

My first .22 was a Old Model Ruger 3 Screw revolver. My father bought it new and polished the frame grip and elector housing out. He also polished the hammer and trigger and had an action job put on it. I sold it in my early 20's like a dumb*$$. Man I miss that gun.

    First Shot... a Nylon 66

First Owned... A Browning Challenger III. Bought it on my 21st Birthday back in 1984, stupid state rules for pistols :(. Still have it, but my last gunsmith recommended putting her up as she getting to be a collectible. Still functions flawlessly and will leave her fang marks from the slide on your hand if you aren't careful. :) LOL

Been lurking on this forum a while. Thought I would join the party and chime in... Remington 572 BDL. Pretty nice gun for an eight year old kid. But at the range I still would rather shoot my mom's 512X. Guess I was a bolt gun fan even back then. ;>

Oh and the first .22 pistol came a while later. A Ruger Mark II when they were first released. The target model with a 6 7/8" bull barrel. I got so mad trying to disassemble it the first time (hit the gun with a @#$@# hammer?) that I ended up selling it shortly thereafter. I sort of regret that decision now.

Glenfield Marlin Model 60. Put about 500,000 rounds through it and sold it to a buddy who is still shooting it I think.

Bought an anniversary model and kept shooting.
